Disco Chair by Kiwi + Pom
Commissioned by Wallpaper* Magazine, the Disco Chair by Kiwi + Pom is a bespoke one-off illuminated furniture concept. Constructed from 200 linear metres of illuminated wire, the chair transforms into a neon rainbow when powered. A pulse setting enables the chair to flash on and off creating an instant disco installation making it the perfect accessory to any home disco.

Barbican Art Gallery, London
Open Until: 16th May 2010
Bold, experimental and inventive, Ron Arad defies categorisation. This internationally acclaimed London-based maverick is variously described as a designer, architect and artist. Ron Arad: Restlessis the first major survey exhibition of Arad’s work in the UK.
Spanning three decades, the show traces the development of Arad’s designs from his early post-punk approach, assembling works from readymade parts to his technologically-advanced sculptural objects made of highly polished metals.

Swiss designer Michel Bussien’s Growing Chair evokes pertinent ideas for the 21st century: nature trapped within the confines of man, manicured at his whim, or a specimen preserved behind glass – like fossils in a museum.
Diesel’s Home Collection recently was enriched by the addition of two new partners – both leaders in the world of interiors – Foscarini for lighting and Moroso for furniture.
An artist as well as a designer, Chris Ferebee divides his time between furniture /product design, photography, mixed media and graphic design.
