The Let’s Colour Project is a worldwide initiative from Dulux, Dulux Valentine, Coral + Marshall to transform grey spaces with colourful paint. A mission to spread colour all over the world.

Dulux is working together with local communities across the globe, rolling up sleeves to paint streets, houses, schools and squares.

It’s the beginning of a colour movement!

Disco Chair by Kiwi + Pom

Commissioned by Wallpaper* Magazine, the Disco Chair by Kiwi + Pom is a bespoke one-off illuminated furniture concept. Constructed from 200 linear metres of illuminated wire, the chair transforms into a neon rainbow when powered. A pulse setting enables the chair to flash on and off creating an instant disco installation making it the perfect accessory to any home disco.

Mimicking the Jewish Museum in Berlin and other architectural works by Daniel Libeskind, the 515 square meter, two story villas by Libeskind are based on the shape of a crystal, with sharp edges.

The villa can be shipped and assembled anywhere in the world and is expected to cost between 2.8 to 4.2 million USD.

BLACK: Masters of Black in Fashion & Costume open until 08|08|2010 at the MOMU Fashion Museum in Antwerp, illustrates the historic phases of the colour black, with examples from painting, historic costume and contemporary fashion. It also looks more deeply into the textures and the potentials of black in diverse materials, including fur, leather and lace.
